They make classic Cubanos - and they deliver
You can't beat that
If you're not in the mood for sandwiches they have a full menu of Spanish food staples, and they make an excellent cup of coffee -

Where to begin. Uncooked bacon served, pancakes tasted like ham, dirty cutlery, mishandling of food and waste.
And they have a local woman steal cosmetics from the Duane Reade next door and give her cash.
Can't make this stuff up. Avoid at all costs. -

This was my first time trying Dominican food. It was beyond my expectation.
I'd never had beans before but this place served really good beans, and it was blissful to eat them with the roasted chicken and rice. The grilled banana was also as good as I expected. I would like to come back again if I go back to visit Harlem! -

I stopped in here to grab some lunch to go after getting my nails done in the area. They had good reviews on Yelp. When I arrived, the small restaurant was fairly crowded with people ordering lunch. They have a few tables to sit and enjoy your meal but it appears to be more of a take out spot. The staff were friendly and accommodating and answered my questions without rushing me.
They have daily specials and that's what I ordered. I had the baked chicken, rice and beans. The give you big portions and thankfully the food was delicious. I was able to eat for lunch and dinner. The prices were a little expensive than I expected for the area. However, it's worth it for the quality and quantity of food you receive. It was busy when I went and there was a lot of moving around with staff working fast to complete customers orders which was great to see. I would definitely eat here again and check out some other Spanish dishes. -

Flor de Broadway was on the corner between my Air BnB and the subway on my recent stay. I stopped in numerous times while there, getting cafe con leche and toast in the morning and tres leches and flan in the evening. Never was able to grab a meal but the food looked and smelled great! Prices are reasonable and staff were very friendly. The even tolerated my caca pronunciations. Cash only in this Dominican cafe.
